music to my ears

So last night while looking for the missing ball of PlayDoh, I found Bryan's harmonica under the recliner cushion. I don't know where it came from in the first place, but has been a while since it was last used. Bryan usually only plays it to get our dogs to howl/sing.

Anyway, last night he started playing it and Dylan was intrigued. Dylan knows how to blow, so Bryan tried to show him how to blow into the harmonica to make noise. Dylan would blow into it, but at the same time he would hum. The harmonica never made any noise, and all you could hear was Dylan's humming. It was pretty funny. This went on for a while and then we decided it was time for him to go to bed. When we put Dylan to bed he wanted to take the harmonica with him. These days it would be out of character for him to NOT take something random to bed with him.

Well, this morning I woke up to some blues music coming from Dylan's room. Somehow he mastered the technique in the middle of the night. I ran to get my camera and found him sitting in the corner of this crib just playing away.

My good equipment is packed with my stuff to take to the hospital so I had to settle on my point & shoot camera and video. The quality is dark & crappy, but nonetheless they are cute!
