new oldies

There have been several events/activities in the last few months with photos that I would like to share, but I have had no time to share them. I know, I know, you are sick of hearing how hectic my life is but it is the truth. So until I get caught up, this post will be pinned at the top with links to new blog entries with old dates. That way you won't miss seeing/reading them, and I can keep them in date order. The perfectionist in me likes to keep things organized.

strolling for two

A lot of my friends who recently gave birth to bambino #2 or are pregnant with #2 have asked me about the double stroller I have, as seen in this post. It is the new Graco Quattro Tour Duo Double.

I will start with the cons.

  • It is heavy, 39 pounds to be exact. Not including children.
  • It is big. It takes half of my Tahoe's trunk (with 3rd row seat removed).
Now for the pros.
  • The basket underneath is massive. If you love to shop, you will love all that you can store in the basket.
  • You can open and close it with one hand.
  • The parent cupholders hold 32. oz. beverages, so it will hold your super sized Jack & Coke. Trust me, with two kids you will need it. Actually, there are two parent cupholders so you can double fist it on those really difficult days.
  • You can steer it with one hand (while you guzzle your beverage).
  • The fabric wipes clean very easily.
  • Back seat reclines fully for baby.
  • Front seat has snack cup & drink holder, and its own storage basket underneath. I like how the front seat is open so Dylan can hop in and out on his own (when he isn't harnessed in)
  • Nice sized canopies, the front canopy is removable.
There are 6 different fabric choices, I think. Mine is black & silver which Graco calls "Metropolitan". My parents bought it for us, but I am pretty sure they got it from www.albeebaby.com, which offers free shipping.

I recommend going to Babies R Us and test driving the stroller. It is not for everyone. Also, you may want to ask a BRU associate if you can take it outside to see if it will fit in your trunk (escorted, of course).

Hope that helps you all. Post in the comment section if you have questions about the stroller, and I will answer them there too.

Oooh me likey. Of course by the time we have our second Nolan won't need a stroller... I just want it anyways! :)
