new oldies

There have been several events/activities in the last few months with photos that I would like to share, but I have had no time to share them. I know, I know, you are sick of hearing how hectic my life is but it is the truth. So until I get caught up, this post will be pinned at the top with links to new blog entries with old dates. That way you won't miss seeing/reading them, and I can keep them in date order. The perfectionist in me likes to keep things organized.

snow days

We went to Big Bear for a few days over New Years. Mother Nature hasn't dropped a ton of snow on Southern CA so far this winter so we figured we should take advantage of it while it was here.

On our way there we were driving up the mountain and Dylan was quietly watching a DVD in the back seat. All of a sudden he yelled out "nooooo! nooooo!" We couldn't figure out what the problem was. About a minute later he did it again, and I turned around and saw him pointing out the window at the snow. Anyway, here are some pictures of him playing in the 'no'. He had so much fun and cried when it was time to go inside and warm up.

Bryan & Dylan went sledding and I played photographer extraordinaire while carrying Gavin in the Baby Bjorn carrier.

We went to dinner on New Year's Eve and then came back to the cabin and put the kids in bed. Then we lit a fire in the fireplace, drank some cervezas and watched the movie Superbad. It was nice, mellow, and safe...the way I prefer to celebrate New Year's Eve.

Snow Day #2. A fun a way to start out the new year!

Even Bryan picked up the camera. Me likey!

That afternoon we took a little walk around part of Big Bear Lake before heading home. It was c-c-c-cooold.

Doesn't Beet look miserable?
