new oldies

There have been several events/activities in the last few months with photos that I would like to share, but I have had no time to share them. I know, I know, you are sick of hearing how hectic my life is but it is the truth. So until I get caught up, this post will be pinned at the top with links to new blog entries with old dates. That way you won't miss seeing/reading them, and I can keep them in date order. The perfectionist in me likes to keep things organized.

january

Unfortunately, I won't be posting much, if anything this month (besides this post) because I am super-duper busy.

I spent the first half of the month doing party planning for my mom's 60th Birthday Surprise Party. The party was on the 12th and I think we got her good.

Just about every spare minute this past week and for the rest of the month I will be working. I am up to my eyeballs in tax prep. Fun. Hopefully I will be back to blogging in full force come February. I have some really fun photos & stories from January to share!

Proud Mommy Moments:
Beet has rolled over both directions. He is also grabbing things and laughing up a storm. Such a happy lil' fella.

Dylan knows about half the alphabet now. Not the ABC song, but he can look at a letter and tell you what it is. He is really good with shapes and colors. I love the way he says "neng-neng-al" (aka rectangle), "er-cle" (aka circle), "obal" (oval), etc. His vocabulary has grown so much over the last few months.

I'll leave you with this one for now.

I took this a couple nights ago. Dylan was showing Gavin his "map", which is a Thomas the Tank Engine catalog. He knows the name of every train in that catalog.
