new oldies

There have been several events/activities in the last few months with photos that I would like to share, but I have had no time to share them. I know, I know, you are sick of hearing how hectic my life is but it is the truth. So until I get caught up, this post will be pinned at the top with links to new blog entries with old dates. That way you won't miss seeing/reading them, and I can keep them in date order. The perfectionist in me likes to keep things organized.

Experimenting with RAW photography

I took these last week of Dylan. I was my first time shooting in RAW.

I like this shot a lot, I just wish I got both eyes in focus. I try to focus right between the eyes but it's hard with a moving toddler.

This one I love Dyl's expression but the color doesn't seem as vibrant as it does in all the others.

This one I wasn't looking through the view finder and he just happened to be smiling AND looking at me when I snapped! Amazing!

This is the "Mom, enough already"! smirk.

In this picture I am pretty sure this was his thought: "Maybe if I hide my face she will stop taking pictures of me." I wish his eye was in focus rather than the carpet but I wanted to get the silly shot quickly and didn't even think about changing the focus selector.

The next two are just too cute to not share.

These are great, Erin! Did you do the RAW editing in the Nikon software or PS? He is so beautiful!

Thanks Jaidean! I used the Nikon software. I just used the automatic edits. When I get a better hang of RAW and editing in general I will play around more.
