Life with a Toddler

This is what happens when Mommy tries to take a shower and Dylan has free roam of the bathroom.
















I always close the 'crapper' door so he can't play in the toilet. Thankfully he has never tried. He likes to play with the shoes in our closet and I don't mind. The bathroom cabinets are child proof except for one drawer. It is his drawer. It is filled with toiletry samples, wooden spoons, an empty tissue box, and some other miscellaneous stuff.

Well today he managed to open Mommy's drawer of goodies. While I was showering I noticed that it was awfully quiet. I opened the shower door to take a peek and found him sitting on the floor with a wooden spoon in one hand. In the other hand he had my big round brush and he was brushing his hair with it. My drawer had been pretty much emptied. There were headbands, hair clips, and hair brushes everywhere. He looked up and smiled at me. I smiled back. I wish I had my camera at that moment. It was too cute.

Note to self: Shower during nap time.
